Free online ticketing service from ts.com
ts.com are presenting their new free online ticketing service, ts
Express, at this year’s Showman’s Show. Launched earlier this year,
the ticketing service is already being used by event organisers and musicians
across the UK as a simple, effective way to sell their tickets and all for
free.
ts Express is so simple to set up that you can be live online selling your tickets within a matter of hours, through a web page displaying your branding and event information. Customers book by clicking on a URL link direct from your website and can pay for their tickets using credit or debit cards securely through PayPal, or you can have pay on the door ticket reservation. Once the booking is confirmed the customer will receive an email confirmation and link to a bar coded Print-at-Home ticket which they print out and bring along to the event. Organisers keep in control of their event and can track ticket sales or print a door list using the ts Express live online reporting.
Consumer acceptance of online ticketing is being led by the budget airlines, who all use e-ticketing. Using ts Express event organisers get the same convenient, cost effective benefits, as well as the ability to easily capture valuable customer information for marketing and reducing fraud by scanning the barcodes on the tickets. As the new service is entirely supported by advertising on the tickets issued, there are no charges or booking fees to the event or the ticket buyers.
Another major benefit of ts Express for an event organiser is free nationwide advertising of their event on ts Tickets, the online ticket portal run by ts.com.
One group who have taken advantage of ts.com’s free ticketing service is Pink Flawd, a Pink Floyd tribute band. Joe Guynan, Pink Flawed guitarist and vocalist, said: “I came across ts Express when I was searching online for a reasonably priced ticketing service. We’ve recently branched out from playing in pubs and clubs to theatres and larger venues and we host most of these events ourselves. As we don’t have our own box office, ts Express is just what we need – and I was really pleased that it is completely free of charge. I was also impressed by how simple it was to use. I clicked on the ticket set-up page, entered the event details and 15 minutes later I was sending out the URL showing our fans where they could buy tickets online.”
