Tasty Marquees, Good Enough to Eat!
Custom Covers has a number of new products to tempt the taste buds of discerning and idea-hungry visitors to the 2007 Showman’s Show.
They have added four new exciting colours to their extensive range of lining cloth colours: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, aubergine and burnt orange. All these new edible colours will be featured in this year’s exhibit.
The award winning marquee manufacturer has been supplying marquees, PVC marquee covers and decorative linings to the events industry for almost a quarter of a century and already offer an unrivalled pallet of over 35 lining colours to suit any event or theme. Yet the search is always on at Custom Covers to come up with innovative and exciting products to maintain its position as one of the UK’s market leaders.
Prize winning will be on the menu too. Custom Covers will be announcing the winner of their own Marquee Interior Design competition to be awarded to a student from Southampton Solent University. The prize giving will take place at 1630 on Wednesday 17th October in the Custom Covers marquee at the Show.
The completed work formed part of the students’ interior design degree: the brief was to develop the interior of a 6m x 6m marquee space suitable for an exhibition stand or corporate day out. An emphasis on the innovative use of fabrics was encouraged. The winning design will be featured in this year’s exhibit.
Custom Covers’ show stand will be made up of over 800 square metres of themed marquee space. The Company has devoted the whole of one area of this year’s exhibit to a classic wedding theme. The remaining space as in past years will feature different fabrics and finishing techniques.
The use of digital printing as marketing tool for marquee hirers has become more prevalent in the last 18 months as the cost of digital printing has become much more affordable. At this year’s Show Custom Covers will be displaying a number of ways that marquee hirers can take advantage of this trend.
