Review 2007

The wettest summer on record has meant the cancellation of many outdoor events.  So it was unbelievable when, expecting rain as usual, the sun shone on the first morning of the 2007 Showman's Show and continued to shine throughout the two days of the exhibition.  With the sun came the visitors, in their droves - an increase on 2006 - 5010 to be exact.  Nevertheless, the increase in numbers did not mean a decrease in visitor quality as exhibitors expressed how pleased they were to meet a high number of decision makers who had carefully planned their time at the Show.

Alan Normanton of Alpha Lettering:  "Alpha Lettering has exhibited at The Showman's Show over the past two years but 2007 was the best yet.  The Show was brilliantly busy with lots of new visitors and leads were secured from all over the UK.  The Showman's Show is the best exhibition we attend, it is friendly and well organised but not regimental, the show days run very smoothly but most of all it's fun!"

Ben Leeke of Capability Events:  "We have been to The Showman's Show before as visitors and decided we were missing a trick by not exhibiting.  Being a new exhibitor this year we were uncertain what to expect but there was no need to worry as the Show delivered an exceptionally high standard of visitors, many of whom confirmed an enthusiastic interest in our products and services."

Malcolm Burlow of Highlite International BV:  "Following our debut in 2006 we were pleased to return to The Showman's Show this year with a new product - the Showtec Marquee Uplighter - which was designed following an idea that was borne from last year's Show.  We were kept exceedingly busy from beginning to end and the response from visitors to the new uplighter and our whole product range was amazing.  We will definitely be coming back in 2008."

David Kelsall of Tectoniks:  "The Showman's Show 2007 was the first time we had exhibited one of our unique buildings on this scale.  We found that the visitors we had were precisely the audience that we are aiming our products at and obtained valuable feedback, as well as many compliments for our stand and our products as a whole.  We are confident of receiving enquiries and orders from prospective customers who now have first hand experience of our buildings thanks to this Show.  We look forward to exhibiting again in 2008."
