Commercial Seating Products

Commercial Seating Products, a manufacturer specializing in the providing elegantly durable seating for the Event Hire industry, will be making their Showman’s Show debut this year.  Commercial Seating Products made their mark in the event hire industry with their “Max” Series of chairs.  Each “Max” Series style of chair must be able to hold over 225Kg.

Through careful ingenuity, in 2005 Commercial Seating Products created the first ever transparent Chiavari Chair dubbed the Ice Chair.  The Ice Chair’s unique stainless steel inner frame, allows the chair to be stronger than its wood counterparts, while introducing a new level of elegance to the classic chair.  The Ice Chair’s rise in popularity in the United States garnered global attention and can now be found in several Hire companies in the UK and Ireland.  Due to the demand for the chair, three new colours (Amber, Emerald and Sapphire) were released in 2008 adding to the “Max” Series Crystal Chiavari Chairs.

In a quest to provide the best event seating available, Commercial Seating Products reformulated the “Max” Series Chiavari Chairs received several upgrades, ensuring them to be the strongest, yet elegant, seating available.  The extremely durable K-Resin was reformulated to deliver a new level of durability.  In addition, polycarbonate was used to create an impact resistant seat.  The polycarbonate material is similar to bulletproof material used in many applications.

Continuing their innovation, Commercial Seating Products introduced a new line of “Max” Metal Ballroom chairs in 2008.  The three styles, Chiavari, Rose and Natalie, offer a new look with the same durability offered by all “Max” Series products.  The steel frame is completed with a hand brushed Antique Bronze finish.  All three styles of chair offer a new take on a classic.  In order to provide the customer with a level of options, the removable plush seat cushion can be outfitted with differing cushion coverings, allowing an unlimited number of looks for each chair.

In addition to the elegance, practicality is also a priority.  The “Max” Metal Ballroom chairs stack 15 high and take up the same amount of space that 7 typical Chiavari Chairs would normally take.  The rigid steel frame will continue to serve customers for years.  Touch-up kits are available to cover incidental scratches made to the finish of the chair through prolonged used.

Another introduction in 2008 was the improved “Max” Poly Performance chair.  Although it may look like a typical Samsonite chair, the “Max” Poly Performance can easily hold over a 500Kg static load without buckling the frame.  This is thanks to three key components.  The first is the Dura-Tube frame.  A second inner frame is inserted into the front legs, where most of the weight load is distributed.  This is coupled with a metal insert moulded into the seat frame to provide an unbreakable bond at the hinges.  The hinge is also beefed up to provide more support, creating a liability free chair.

Commercial Seating Products offers many different styles of chairs and accessories in both the traditional European Beech wood and Resin to the Hire Industry.  To learn more, visit them at this year’s Showman’s Show.
