A DJ for All Occasions
If you love jazz and big band then Ricardo Gazzini is the DJ for you. Providing jazz sets for any occasion from an al fresco garden party playing light Latin, a gala dinner evening with lounge, networking meetings playing unobtrusive jazz to an after party with swing, crooners and mainstream.
Ricardo has performed as a DJ at all the main jazz festivals from The Isle of Wight, Cheltenham to the recent Oxford and Bicester events including the biggest swing festival in the UK plus he is endorsed by one of the leading jazz labels in the UK – Bluenote. In addition to performing at festivals, Ricardo has also performed for various corporate bodies including: Fitness 1st, The Whitbread Group, NOEA and the MacMillian Cancer charity.
“If you mention the word jazz to many people they think of strange
noise and mad sax players. In contrast to this view my playsets are
controlled, with melodies that you can listen to, from some of the finest
jazz players past and present. In a lounge situation the audience is
important and you need to create a convivial ambience for it to work.”

With a knowledge of jazz that spans over 30 years Ricardo is perfectly placed to know what will work for any type of event. It will be Ricardo’s third year at The Showman’s Show where you will hear him playing his lounge sets with pianist Ade Franks as you enter the Show.
