GT Trax has a Mega-Solution for Outside Events – Rain or Shine
Introducing the Mega-Sol – the biggest mobile parasol in the world - ready to be unveiled at The Showman’s Show 2009! GT Trax Limited, the Hertfordshire based ground protection and event rental specialist, is preparing to launch a brand new product into the UK event hire market – the Mega-Sol.
The Mega-Sol is a truly unique concept for providing cover for up to 250 guests whatever the weather. Based on the principal of an open umbrella, the Mega-Sol has a standard diameter of 12 metres and is fitted with a sixteen-piece angular solid wood flooring. The complete unit can be fully installed and erected in just one and a half hours.
For larger events or festivals, the brightly coloured Mega-Sol, can be extended to 17 metres and a side sail swiftly added to fully enclose guests – particularly useful should the weather turn nasty! For corporate customers wishing to enhance their brand and image, the side sail can be printed with a firm’s logo and message.
“The Mega-Sol has been a massive success at festivals, parties and outside ice rinks in Holland, Germany and Belgium,” explained GT Trax Managing Director, Trevor Tinker. “The concept is to provide a unique, fun atmosphere combined with proper shelter from rain or sunshine,” added Mr. Tinker.
The Mega-Sol originates from Holland and GT Trax has secured the sole UK distribution rights. The Mega-Sol will be available to hire on long or short-term rental periods with a full, UK wide delivery, installation and removal service provided. Tables and temporary footpaths can also be supplied in one complete rental package.
GT Trax has been renting a range of temporary roadways, walkways and cable protection ramps to the UK events industry since 2005. In addition to the Mega-Sol, GT Trax is also the sole UK distributor of the unique FoldTable event seating system and GWW-PRO plastic ground protection products.
