Pearce Hire invests in i-Pix
Pearce Hire has continued its ongoing investment in hire stock by taking delivery of 20 i-Pix BB4 washlight units, a versatile lighting instrument, which is ideal for a variety of applications and venues. The i-Pix BB4 comes complete with flightcases, along with a full range of hanging hardware and optional lenses.
Pearce Hire MD Shaun Pearce commented: “We’ve been waiting for the right time to make a significant investment in LED products. With the rapid development of LED fixtures over the last few years we’ve seen fixtures going out of fashion (and so becoming obsolete) very quickly, so we have found it more cost effective to sub-rent, enabling us to provide clients with exactly the right tool for the job.”
Mr Pearce continues: “We feel, with the i-Pix BB4, we’ve finally found a well designed fixture that will last. It has excellent output and a variety of lenses and mounting options which means it’s adaptable to a large number of applications; as a hire company that is an essential feature for any stock product. The homogenised source also means we have an LED fixture that can truly be used as a light rather than just a visual effect.
We’ve also found that the combined cabling system has sped up rigging of the fixtures, while the internal programming capabilities means they’re ideal for architectural and exhibition applications where it is often not practical to leave a console on site.”
