Worldwide is a leading supplier of temporary seating solutions. The company
was founded with the sole purpose of revolutionising the old-fashioned,
cumbersome and labour-intensive seating industry, supplying traditional
A-Frame stands, luxury conference seating and the new unique ClamStand to a
broad range of industry sectors, from theatrical productions to every
imaginable event.
With a wide range of existing stands and on-site fabricating facilities Grandstands Worldwide has yet to come across a requirement it cannot satisfy.
Introducing the NEW ClamStand
At The Showman’s Show 2009 the company will exhibit their new seating system, the ClamStand.
Over the last four years Grandstands Worldwide engineers have been developing a seating system which is stronger, quicker and more versatile than traditional systems.
Each stand has up to 85 high quality seats with an optional attractive, self contained ‘dome’ canopy. Unlike most other systems the ClamStand seats are not fixed in a pre-allocated position, thus enabling any seat configuration of any width.
The ClamStand can be deployed in a matter of minutes and can be erected and ready for use in as little as two hours. A typical example is an order we received at 4pm in Somerset for 500 seats to be ready in Manchester the next day – accomplished!
The ClamStand is in a league of its own, suitable for any town or street event. Its fast-in, fast-out deployment minimises disruption to the area, which represents a substantial return on investment.
Another key advantage of the ClamStand is that each unit can be unloaded from a delivering vehicle within minutes by a single operator. As the stands are based on modified shipping containers, the units already fit existing sea, rail and road systems and are transportable in multiples of up to 582 seats per road trailer.
