Pearce Hire At The Showman's Show

Following a show stopping summer of providing production packages of temporary power, lighting and audio to some of the UK’s top events, Pearce Hire exhibited at The Showman’s Show showcasing services that will add technical and creative flare to any event.

The company’s summer season started by touring with the Forestry Commission’s live music gigs, providing lighting for a multitude of artists; including Paul Weller, Katherine Jenkins and McFly, and temporary power to all site facilities.

A trio of events in Cambridge this July incorporated the Cambridge Big Weekend, a garden party for 9,000 people in the University Botanical Gardens and the Cambridge Folk Festival.  Pearce Hire’s teams of experienced technicians co-ordinated varying requirements at each event including operating lighting and audio for multiple stages and managing temporary power supplies across sites for food markets, activity and sponsor marquees.

In response to an increasing number of conversations with clients looking to reduce the environmental impact of their events, Pearce Hire has invested in an innovative stock of LED lighting, purchasing 20 i-Pix BB4 units.  These versatile units enhance the creative options of lighting designers and as LED technology is also a more energy efficient light-source than traditional lighting, they also help organisers to reduce the carbon footprint of their events.

Pearce Hire’s audio department has taken delivery of a new Digital Yamaha M6CL console, adding to the company’s extensive range of consoles suited to meeting the differing needs of clients.  The 48 channel board compliments the existing stock of Yamaha DM2000’s, DM1000’s and 01v’s, further extending the range of modern control systems available to engineers.

A further investment in cable ramp earlier this year saw Pearce Hire become the UK’s largest stockist of Adam Hall cable ramp rental stock.  The latest addition means their range now includes the Defender Mini Ramp, Defender 3 and Defender Midi, giving a comprehensive array of these products that are so essential to the health and safety of any event site.
